Council Meetings are usually on the second and fourth Mondays of the month, starting at 7 p.m. in the Council Chambers, Town Hall, 65 Harwood Ave. S.

Community Affairs & Planning Committee (CAP) deals with land use planning issues including Official Plan Amendments, Zoning By-law Amendments and other Public Meetings deemed to require public consultation. The CAP Committee usually meets the first and third Mondays of the month, starting at 7 p.m. in the Council Chambers, Town Hall, 65 Harwood Ave. S.

General Government Committee (GGC) deals with issues related to corporate matters including human resources, financial planning, contract awards, levels of service and policy matters. The GGC usually meets the Thursdays following the first and third Mondays of each month in the River Plate  Room, Town Hall, 65 Harwood Ave. S.  The In-Camera session generally starts at 1 p.m. and the Public Meeting starts at 2:00 p.m.

Meetings are Tuesday if Monday is a holiday.

Composition of Committees: All Members of Council sit on the Community Affairs & Planning Committee and the General Government Committee
