Your Opinion Counts

Customer Response

In July 2004, the Ajax Public Library introduced the Counting Opinions On-line Customer Satisfaction Survey, and there have been over 500 responses to date.

Our customers responded that they have:

  • An 81% overall satisfaction rate
  • An 81% overall satisfaction rate with the quality of library service
  • An 84% overall satisfaction rate with the quality of services provided by staff
  • An 78% success rate in finding information

The results have assisted us in the following ways:

  • To identify trends
  • To set customer service priorities
  • To develop strategic planning initiatives
  • To direct customer service needs
  • To review service provisions
