Customer Response

In July 2004, the Ajax Public Library introduced the Counting Opinions On-line Customer Satisfaction Survey, and there have been over 500 responses to date.

Our customers responded that they have:

An 81% overall satisfaction rate
An 81% overall satisfaction rate with the quality of library service
An 84% overall satisfaction rate with the quality of services provided by staff
An 78% success rate in finding information

The results have assisted us in the following ways:

To identify trends
To set customer service priorities
To develop strategic planning initiatives
To direct customer service needs
To review service provisions
