How do I register my newborn baby?

All births occurring at the Rouge Valley Health System (Ajax-Pickering) and homebirths occurring in Ajax must be registered through Legislative and Information Services:

• Birth registration takes approximately 3 months; the fee for registering a birth is $25
• If you require proof of birth prior to receiving the birth certificate, an affidavit may be issued from this office; the fee is $25.
