2007 Ajax in Bloom Winners

On September 13, 2007, the Town held its annual Ajax in Bloom Awards Night, celebrating the best gardens in the Town of Ajax. Mayor Steve Parish, members of Council and special guest Frank Ferragine presented awards in the categories of Business Beautification, Schoolyard Beautification and the Red Rose of Lancaster - nominated as the Town’s best garden.

In its ninth year, the goal of Ajax in Bloom is to encourage community involvement. It also allows Town residents to beautify their neighbourhoods, get to know their neighbours, become involved in their community, improve the natural environment, increase their physical activity and enjoy the pleasures of gardening.
