Fire Prevention Week

 
On October 9, Ajax Fire & Emergency Services, along with Panago Pizza, delivered pizzas to select customers to promote fire safety during this year's Fire Prevention Week - October 5 to 11. 
 
Randomly selected customers who ordered pizza from Panago receive their order from Deputy Fire Chief Mark Diotte and a Panago representative. In addition, residences that have working smoke alarms on all levels of their home and outside all sleeping areas, as well as a well-rehearsed escape plan in case of a fire, received their entire pizza order free of charge.

At the completion of a successful home inspection, Deputy Fire Chief Mark Diotte present the Henderson family with free Panago pizza.   A successful home inspection with working smoke alarms on all levels has Deputy Fire Chief Mark Diotte and Fire Prevention Inspector Kevin Vaughan present the Miske family with free Panago pizza. Working smoke alarms on all levels and a new understanding for the importance of home escape planning, Deputy Fire Chief Mark Diotte and Fire Prevention Inspector Kevin Vaughan present the Williams family with free Panago pizza.
