Ajax's first annual Waterfront Half Marathon

Running the Ajax Waterfront
The Town of Ajax takes great pride in its waterfront - six kilometers of unspoiled park land stretching across the Town's southern border along the shores of Lake Ontario. This land, totaling over 150 acres, is used by residents and visitors who come to enjoy the scenic views, engage in recreational activities in the open spaces, and utilize the multi-use trail for walking, jogging, cycling, and inline skating. The asphalt trail, which is over four kilometers in length, is part of the Waterfront Trail that runs from Hamilton to Belleville. Participants of the Town's inaugural Half Marathon (21.1 km) will experience first-hand why the waterfront is often referred to as "the jewel of the south".
Race Entry Fee: $40 - Individual / $160 - Team *Until September 31*
