Live-Fire Training Facility

Construction is presently underway on our state-of-the-art, environmentally friendly live-fire training facility.

Live Fire Training Facility June 4 2008

This multi-storey facility will feature two separate, propane fired live-fire training simulation modules that will provide our Training Division with the ability to conduct realistic live-fire suppression, rescue and operational training.  It also contains an area for Rapid Intervention Training, balcony areas for high-rise training, hose cabinet and fire department connection simulations and two small residential simulation areas.

The training facility contains a master control room where the live-fire simulators will be controlled and operated.

The facility will also be equipped with an environmentally friendly artificial smoke generation system that will provide the ability to conduct training in realistic, smoke filled rooms.  This artificial smoke generation system will work either in conjunction with the live-fire simulators or on it's own, making a wide variety of training simulations possible.
