Ajax Community Centre pool closed for maintenance - September 7 to 17
During the Ajax Community Centre pool closure, early morning lane swim times will be offered at the Mclean Community Centre on the follow days and times:
Tuesday, September 7 & 14 - 6:45 to 7:45 a.m.
Wednesday, September 8 & 15 - 6:30 tp 9 a.m.
Thursday, September 9 & 16 - 6:45 to 7:45 a.m.
Monday, September 13 & Friday, September 10 & 17 - 7:30 to 9 a.m.
Ajax Community Centre - members' change rooms closed for renovations
The members' change rooms at the Ajax Community Centre will be closed for renovations from September 7 to 30. During this time, the public change rooms will be available for use. We look forward to unveiling the new change rooms in October!
Public Art Competition - Open Call for Proposals
The Town of Ajax is holding a competition to select individual artists or creative teams to conceive, build and install site-specific works of public art at a number of locations throughout the Town. The competition is open to artists residing in Canada and artists/creative teams may submit proposals for one or more sites. The deadline for submissions is Friday, October 1, 2010. Fall Programs Start Soon!
Don't delay - classes are filling up! We are offering a variety of programs for all ages. Spaces are limited. Most classes start the week of September 19.
Calling All Visual Artists!
The Town of Ajax offers hanging space at McLean Community Centre (95 Magill Drive, Ajax) for seven exhibitions per year. Solo exhibits are available in the East Hall Gallery OR the West Hall Gallery OR the entire East and West Hall gallery and the exhibition runs for approximately five weeks. Preliminary site plans and concept designs for the new Audley Recreation Centre are available for review.
