The recruit training program is 16 full weeks in length and includes the completion of the Ontario Fire College Recruit Training Program.  This three week intense program includes many hours of “live-fire” training.  As one of the qualified instructors for the Ontario Fire College program, Chief Training Officer Morrison is directly involved in preparing our new Fire Fighters for the varied situations they will face over their careers.  Following completion of the three-week Ontario Fire College, the remaining 13 weeks training are provided to each recruit under the instruction and direction of the Chief Training Officer.
