Tents and/or Air Supported Structure

• The estimated construction value (to be checked against the TACBOC valuation)
• A completed Building Permit application form
• The Building Permit Fee pursuant to Building Bylaw 29-97, Schedule A, Part B, item 10
• Four copies of a fully dimensioned DETAILED DRAWINGS with the supporting framing structures and anchorage systems designed by a professional engineer
• Four copies of a SITE PLAN showing the location of all the proposed structure
• Plans showing the location and availability of Sanitary Facilities
• A CERTIFICATE that indicates that tarpaulins, decorative materials, fabrics and films used in connection with the structure meets the CAN/ULC S-109-M or NFPA 701 Standard
• Completed Confirmation of Commitment by Owner and Field Review forms
• A completed Other Approvals Form. (when necessary)
• A building permit is not required for a tent or group of tents provided they are:
• not more than 60 m2 (645.86 ft2);
• not attached to a building; and
• constructed more than 3m (10 ft) away from other structures.
