Sunrooms and Additions
- The estimated construction value (to be checked against the TACBOC valuation)

- A completed Building Permit application form.
- The Building Permit Fee pursuant to Building Bylaw 29-97, Schedule A, Part B, item 3.
- Four copies of the SITE PLAN/SURVEY showing the proposed location of the structure with dimensions of the structure and to all property lines.
- Four copies of a SITE GRADING/LOT DRAINAGE PLAN (for additions that increase the building footprint by 50% or more).
- Four copies of fully dimensioned CONSTRUCTION DRAWINGS including:
- cover page or title block
- fully dimensioned floor plans of the proposed building, showing all windows and doors, the size and type of all material (walls and floor) and indicating all structural components
- fully dimensioned roof plan, indicating the size and type of all materials
- fully dimensioned foundation plan
- elevations for all sides of the building, showing the location of the windows and doors (including there sizes), indicate elevation dimensions for the height from ground to the top of the windows and doors, from the ground to the under side of the ceiling and to the top of the ridge
- cross section through the sunroom showing the construction of the roof, walls, floor and foundation.
- north arrow, scale, legend of symbols, the project identity (name, address, unit #, etc.)
- the nature of the occupancy (i.e. S.F.D., Townhouse)
- Two copies of the ROOF TRUSS drawings (to be approved by an engineer).
- Two copies of the HEAT LOSS calculations and DUCT LAYOUT.
- A completed Other Approvals Form (where necessary)
- A completed Durham Region Health Department Application if the subject building is connected to or adjacent to a Septic System.
