Demolitions
- The estimated construction value (to be checked against the TACBOC valuation)
- A completed Building Permit application form (Identify the appropriate box for DEMOLITION)
- The Building Permit Fee pursuant to Building Bylaw 29-97, Schedule A, Part A, item 4
- Three copies of a SITE PLAN/SURVEY showing and indicating the property to be demolished.
For buildings 600 square metres or greater in building area or meeting the other criteria in OBC 2.3.2.3., an engineer is required for General Review
- A completed utility clearance form from all utilities (e.g. Enbridge Consumer Gas, Ajax Hydro, Region of Durham Works Department, Durham Region Health Department etc) is required to confirm that their services have been satisfactorily disconnected.
- A completed Other Approvals Form. (when necessary)
- If the structure is connected to a Septic System, the system must be DECOMMISSIONED as prescribed by the Durham Regional Health Department guidelines.
