Civic Award

The Ajax Civic Award has been awarded annually since 1987, when Mrs. Betty Bujold was honoured. The award is presented to a current or former Ajax resident who has made a continuous contribution in many outstanding ways to the well being of the citizens of the Town of Ajax. The contribution must be voluntary, but can relate to a matter in which the individual has expertise through training, work experience or education.

The recipient of the Ajax Civic Award is chosen by an anonymous selection committee of citizens, none of whom are members of the Town of Ajax Municipal Council or Staff. For more information, call Cherry Sevigny at 905-619-2529, ext. 335.
