Ajax’s Economic Development Office recently completed its three-year Economic Development Strategy. The Strategy outlines goals and objectives and specific actions that the Economic Development Team will undertake over the next three years to reach these targets. The themes of the strategy include building partnerships, development and diversification of the employment base, development of the transportation infrastructure and tourism amenities.

Business Accessibility Brochure

The Town of Ajax Accessibility Advisory Committee is a volunteer Committee commiteed to increasing the access to services and facilities in Ajax, and in fulfilling the requirements of the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act, 2005. The Make Your Business More Accessible in Four Easy Steps brochure is a project of the Committee members and its goals is to familiarize local businesses with the needs of disabled customers.

Planning & Development Services Annual Report

The Planning and Development Services Annual Report is a year end summary of departmental program activities and performance measures. Ajax has experienced unprecedented growth over the last few years that includes a number of major construction projects with completion dates in 2006 and 2007.
