Comprehensive Zoning By-law

Ajax Town Council passed Zoning Bylaw 95-2003 on July 14, 2003.
 
Purpose of the bylaw:
  • Implement the policies of the new Ajax Official Plan, as approved by the Region of Durham on November 1, 2000.
  • Establish common language and consistent development standards for all lands within the Town.
  • Be formatted in a manner such that when, and if, a development permit system is implemented by the Province of Ontario, the Town's zoning regulations and performance standards remain relevant and easily enforceable.
